In collaboration with the Cherie Blair Foundation and DHL, SRC facilitated onboarding, provided technical support for the Road to Growth program, and ensured accessible training, helping women enhance their confidence and proficiency in utilizing digital tools for business growth.
Her Venture is an app-based initiative aimed at empowering young women entrepreneurs through digital learning. SRC implements the app in Kenya, training women to use it for learning essential skills such as marketing, finance, and operations. By offering flexible and accessible digital learning, the program supports women in overcoming traditional education barriers, enabling them to leverage digital tools for business growth and fostering inclusion in the digital economy.
WiDEF: The Women in the Digital Economy Fund (WiDEF) aims to bridge the digital gender divide in Northern Kenya by enhancing women’s economic opportunities through digital literacy.
SRC leveraged incubation centers to train rural women on using digital tools for online marketing, financial management, and business operations. Additionally, SRC collaborated with stakeholders to advocate for inclusive policies and empowered women to integrate digital solutions, boosting efficiency and market access
The Wadhwani Foundational Course in Entrepreneurship and the Ignite Program are key initiatives by SRC focused on advancing digital inclusion. These programs aim to equip individuals with essential digital skills and entrepreneurial knowledge. The Wadhwani course offers foundational training in entrepreneurship, helping participants develop the tools necessary to launch and sustain businesses, while the Ignite Program emphasizes digital literacy and the use of technology for business development.
